Getting Closer to Transit Solutions

How to resolve county-specific and regional congestion in the I-287 corridor and surrounding areas are issues before the Mass Transit Task Force. Since December 2012, the group has been meeting monthly to brainstorm ideas for 2018, when the new bridge opens, and beyond.

Close to fine-tuning recommendations, it next meets September 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Dominican College in Orangeburg. The public is invited to attend, and will have an opportunity to address the group prior to the session’s conclusion.

I’d like to know what you think.
