November Colors: Today on Benedict Avenue

The driver too close to my car nearly hit it when I braked and pulled to the side of the road. What happened to courtesy? I was driving slowly and used my directional signal — some people forget to use it or don’t know left from right — to see the view from Benedict Avenue.

I was on the way to a friend’s house for lunch and brought my camera, planning to make a stop later, then drive to Nyack and take photos there. Plans changed.

The above snapshot, its close-up below, is why I stopped.

Gorgeous fall colors and a clear sky framing the also-blue Hudson River: with or without the crane, this is one of my favorite views.

I’d like to know what you think.

I love this view, even with the cranes for the new bridge
