So there I was, driving past the notorious last exit before bridge sign towards the approach span. It was next to impossible to see what’s happening to the right of me what with concentrating on driving. And then, voila!

Today I noticed a new construction camera location at the Westchester landing that lets you see what you can’t see from the road. Its three location views — toll plaza, maintenance facility site, and abutment — at 45-minute intervals go back to November 10.

You know I check the cameras to see the sunrises and sunsets; the newest one’s good for traffic as well, too. As one friend used to say, “And why not?”
