It’s a regulation football. Players wear appropriate uniforms and gear.

Same goes for dressing properly at work on the project site, like Safety Sam does. By the way, he’s got company across the river.

His unnamed counterpart (below) at the Tarrytown Outreach Center needs socks and steel toe boots at the project site. Safety conditions and personal protection equipment: both are important.

Learn more at the Outreach Centers, 142 Main St., Nyack, and 2 N. Broadway, Tarrytown. Both are open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While Safety Sam is no longer the only mannequin around he’s in good company.

I’d like to know what you think.
