Lane Closures Tonight for Exit 9 off the Bridge

If you were driving in rain and fog recently, then you noticed some lane markings are more clearly visible. I noticed it yesterday when everything disappeared.

Lanes were closed for striping overnight last week and this week (most recently Wednesday night from Exit 9 across the bridge to Exit 10). I noticed it while driving to Rockland yesterday afternoon. More lane closures tonight from 10 a.m. to tomorrow at 5 a.m. to keep drivers safe mean you’ll be detoured. Here’s how:

Turn-by-turn directions for tonight when Exit 9 is closed:

1. Take Exit 8A off-ramp
2. At end of ramp, turn right to westbound Route 119/White Plains Road
3. Enter westbound I-287 (merges with northbound I-87)
4. Take Exit 9 in Tarrytown
5. Turn left to Route 119/White Plains Road
6. Turn left or right on Route 9

It’s rainy, foggy and yucky outside. Really, folks, there’s no need to drive faster.

I’d like to know what you think.
