Metro-North Adjusts for Third Girder Installation

feat_RockefellerTreeTomorrow (Friday) night, the third and final steel girder assembly will be pushed over the Hudson Line train tracks to the first set of piers.

Metro-North will change its schedule around the remaining work planned for Friday night as when the first girder placement was pushed over the Hudson Line to the first set of piers and as well when the second was completed.

The week before Christmas was my favorite time to see decorations in New York City. Hopefully the rain will stop if that’s what you plan to do tomorrow. Check train schedules.

And there’s more . . .

detourAlso tomorrow night, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, access to the Thruway southbound will be via Route 59 in Nyack while the Exit 10 on-ramp is temporarily closed. Work on the electronic toll gantry continues; details about all lane closures are here.

I’d like to know what you think.
