The super crane pictured above traveled from California to New York; we hear kids call it a “rock star.” While it can’t sing or dance it can lift a 600-ton precast concrete pile cap and place a 1,110-ton, 400-foot girder assembly  . . . and that’s impressive.

It’s from the Nyack viewing area, which opened to visitors last October. The view is different from the Tarrytown viewing area, where tables and chairs were recently added.
