Cool Symbolism of What’s Coming and Going

old-and-new

It’s easy to look for something when you know what to look for, which made yesterday’s search a breeze. Peeking out from under blue jump forms were two of the eight new towers’ slanted peeks.

They’re not visible in this photo taken last week before jump form removal began. However, the image is symbolic: the lanes closest to the new bridge come towards the camera, and the lanes going towards the current bridge lead away from the lens.

A little early for “out with the old, in with the new” and still . . .

I’d like to know what you think.
