Work on TZB Landings brings Lane, Exit Closures

Recent photo of the Westchester landing shows two-way traffic moving on the new Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge while crews begin demolishing the Tappan Zee Bridge’s landings courtesy EarthCam® construction camera.

River Road in South Nyack is closed while crews work on the Rockland landings; click here for detour route, ramp and lane closures from Exit 11 southbound to Exit 9.

I’d like to know what you think.

I rode over the east-bound Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge on Friday afternoon, and I was amazed as to how much of the old bridge at the Rockland landing side area has been demolished already. The Tarrytown side does not seem to have too much evidence of removal at this point of time. That will change very quickly.
